colour study: black

Black is traditionally seen as a symbol of menace or evil. It’s colour exists only because it absorbs all other light. Associations with death and morning heavily follow the colour black. In Ancient Egypt, black represented life and rebirth, resurrection. 





updates:

Tomorrow night, I’m leaving for London and will be there for a little over 2 weeks. I won’t have my laptop with me, so I probably won’t be updating during that time. There might be a reblog or two, just nothing I’ve made. 

When I get home, on May 29th, I will be updating aton. I’ve got so much stuff planned and just about ready to post, so that’ll be coming up. Depending on what gets done tonight, I might sort out a queue, but we’ll see.
